The HES SMB Surface Mount Box is designed for double doors without a mullion. It is installed on the inactive leaf pair of doors to accommodate rim-exit devices. This surface mount box is compatible with 7000, 783S, and 789S electric strikes from the 9400, 9500, 9600, and 9700 series. It is a Grade 1 product and comes in black.
