Door Panel – Constructed from two-ply "belting" material, these doors are inherently strong and abrasion-resistant. The layers are bonded together without rivets or stitching, eliminating potential contamination risks. Suitable for low-temperature applications down to –30°F, the doors weigh approximately 3-1/2 PSF.
Wipers – Balloon jamb edge seals, along with top and bottom wipers made of two-ply vinyl-coated nylon, ensure a positive seal.
Leading Edge – A 3” overlap at the center on bi-parting doors acts as an effective noise and temperature barrier.
Impact Plates – Optional impact plates can be added to both sides of the door panel to enhance its strength and durability.
Jamb Edge – 2” balloon seals on the jamb edge provide a superior energy-saving seal.
Windows – Various window configurations are available, with the standard type 50 positioned at the center of each panel, measuring 15" x 14."
Top Mounted Gravity Hinge – Includes the standard Chase top-mounted gravity hinging system that opens instantly upon contact and closes automatically by gravity. The hinge is equipped with a zinc mounting bracket and a stainless steel arm that is through-bolted to the panel.
